Outlines the framework applying to all employees, including leave entitlements, standard hours, probationary periods, performance reviews, termination and conflicts of interest.
Financial Management Policy
Details financial reporting systems of the organisation, signatories and accounts receivable / payable procedures.
Outlines the organisation’s processes to receive and deal with complaints. Complainants may be volunteers, staff, community members or office bearers.
Outlines how the Landcare organisation deals with personal information it collects, holds and administers. Also outlines how the organisation conforms to the Australian Privacy Principles.
Records Management Policy
Details the organisations obligation to retain records of the organisation for mandatory periods. Includes procedures for backing-up records, security of records and how disposal occurs.
Social Media Policy
Outlines principles of conduct for those using social media in the workplace and rules applying to posting social media.
Sun Protection Policy
Relevant for Landcare organisations with volunteers and employees working outdoors. Includes obligations to provide sun protection, water and recommendations for appropriate clothing.
Vehicle Use Policy
For organisations where the Landcare organisation provides a vehicle to staff for work use. Procedures for road safety, car maintenance, traffic infringements and log books.
Vehicle Use Policy – private vehicle
This policy governs the use of employees’ private vehicles for authorised business. This policy outlines the matters to be considered when using a private motor vehicle for business travel and the procedures to claim reimbursement for such use.
Work Health and Safety Policy
