Renowned science communicator Dr Karl Kruszelnicki will be the keynote speaker at the 2017 NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference in Albury.

The popular presenter has a link to the Albury-Wodonga area, having spent his early childhood years at the Bonegilla migrant camp before the family settled in Wollongong.

Dr Karl is best-known for his weekly radio spot on Triple J, in which he answers listener questions about science in his unique and entertaining style.

His appearance at the NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference is a highlight of what promises to be a memorable three days.

The conference takes place from 25-27 October at the Albury Entertainment Centre, the premier conference venue in the twin cities.
