If you live in the Blue Mountains and would like to have your own beautiful waterwise native bush garden then The Blue Mountains Wildplant Rescue Native Plant Nursery is the place to come.  All the plants for sale are of local provenance and therefore ideally adapted to their environment. You can purchase native plants propagated from seed collected locally or, more interestingly, you can buy pots of 'rescued' plants. These are  plants which the Service's volunteers have saved from the clutches of the bulldozer.

Tumbi Wetland Bushcare is working on a Wyong Shire Council reserve and is aiming to preserve local flora. Weed management makes up a large part of this.especially at the margins of the reserve. As the area includes a major storm water outlet we also aim to improve the catchment for part of Tumbi Creek. With respect to this latter aim it has the support of the Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority (CMA).
