Shaws Island - Hawkesbury River - Black Willows Treatment

Willow Warriors are running a paddling trip on the river at Shaws Island, Hawkesbury River on Saturday 8th May 2010, 9 am to 5 pm, to treat Black willows.

The Shaws Island Black willow program has contractors treating the larger galleries and volunteers searching for and poisoning the isolated and difficult to access black willows. This is a grade one section of river.

This activity is funded by the NSW Environmental Trust.
